Purchasing Administrator

This position will be based at our premises in Peterhead.

Purchasing Administrator

The successful candidate's duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Issue and control of Purchase Order numbers
  • Recording of data for every Purchase Order
  • Telephone suppliers
  • Send out all certified and advised non-certified orders to suppliers and maintain a record of the sending
  • Maintain paperwork ensuring correct authorisation has been gained by the buyer
  • Amend and re-issue Purchase Orders as agreed with buyer/approver
  • Maintain records for Purchasing
  • Liaise with Accounts departments over payments

The successful candidate must have either 3 years office experience or hold an HNC qualification in administration.
